Enrolments at Forbes Primary School
At Forbes Primary School, we welcome new families to join our community and value the opportunity to support every child in their learning journey.
Starting Reception
Children starting Reception can enrol under the following arrangements:
- Term 1 Intake: Children who turn 5 years old on or before 30 April are eligible to start school at the beginning of the year.
- Mid-Year Intake: Children who turn 5 years old between 1 May and 31 October are eligible to start school in Term 3 of the same year.
Children who turn 5 after 31 October will begin school in the following year.
Transferring from Another School
We welcome students transferring from other schools at any year level. Families are encouraged to contact the front office to arrange a time to meet with leadership staff, tour the school, and discuss your child’s learning needs and transition. We work closely with families and previous schools to ensure a smooth transition and continuity of learning.
